Concierge Labor and Delivery Nurse
As your concierge labor and delivery nurse I will be by your side throughout your entire labor and delivery. No more seeing a new face every 12 hours, it’s just you and me. I want you to feel safe and heard during your labor. I hope to be your voice when you don’t understand what’s going on or need clarification on your options. I would love to help reduce your fear and anxiety and to prevent any birth trauma. In order to give you the birth you have dreamed of I would like to meet with you before delivery to discuss your thoughts and plans to make this the best experience possible for you.

Postpartum Doula
As your postpartum doula I will be by your side at home to help you navigate the first few days or weeks of motherhood. I will be there to take care of you so that you can focus on your new baby. I will do light cleaning and cooking to make sure you’re not overwhelmed. Self-care is so important after having a baby. Just having a nice hot shower can feel like a real accomplishment. Postpartum mental health is extremely important to monitor. If I’m by your side, you won’t feel alone. You’ll have a shoulder to cry on and a friend to talk to. I can also monitor for complications that can occur after delivery.

Certified Lactation Counselor
I support all moms in how they choose to feed their baby, but breastfeeding can be so challenging. Most women I meet are terrified of the breastfeeding. I have found in my career that the main reason that we are unsuccessful is that we just don’t believe in our bodies. Well, ladies I am here to help you believe in your body and it’s beautiful, amazing capabilities. I am so passionate about cheering on breastfeeding mommies. I’ve been there and I know how hard it is. Sometimes, just having someone there who believes in you makes a world of difference. I’m so excited to cheer you on in your journey!

Childbirth Education Classes
Ok y’all, these classes are going to be so much fun. I have designed a series of 10 classes that will meet for one hour once a week. I have some fun theme nights that I think you’re really going to enjoy. I can offer the classes online or in person. But in person will be way more fun! We will discuss things like pains in pregnancy, what to pack in your hospital bag, what dad’s job is, labor pain control, child and infant CPR, and so much more! I have put my heart and soul into preparing this because education is so important. It gives you so much power, that can reduce fear and anxiety. I can’t wait to see y’all in class!

Girl Empowerment Classes
This is a class that is near and dear to my heart. I have a 9 year old little girl and she is already asking questions that break my heart. She is so worried what others think of her and comparing herself to girls on tv. So I’m empowering and encouraging her to be her beautiful self that God made. I have designed a series of 7 classes to help teach girls about their bodies and how wonderful they are. I will separate the girls into two different age groups. Ages 9-13 will be Chrissy’s Cuties. We will learn about starting our periods and how it’s completely normal. I will educate the girls on how to use sanitary products. We’ll discuss body image and safe touch and social media safety. Ages 14-18 will be Chrissy’s Chickadees. As these girls reach dating age, I want to have a heart to heart about dating and healthy relationships. We will do a deep dive into safe sex, consent and how no is a complete sentence. We will discuss safety in number and all sorts of other cool Aunt stuff. I want to help your girls be safe and successful. I want to encourage and empower them. I want them to know just how wonderful they are. I will have a babysitting class for both groups, and they will learn child and infant CPR too!

Free Support Groups
Women have a lot on their plates. It takes a tribe to help lift us up and encourage us to keep going. I have scheduled four different free support groups to meet once a month. Pregnancy support group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm. Postpartum support group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm. Pregnancy loss support group will meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5:00pm. Sexual abuse survivor support group will meet the 4th Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm. All groups will meet at the Wakulla County Library. Light snacks will be served.
